The letters we are covering this week are

Here is a summary of the information you need to help your child learn the sounds they are learning at the moment.

i : bounce i-i-i-insect (for handwriting say “and, down the insects body, dot for the head – i”)

n  :  stretch nnnnet ( for handwriting say “and, down Nobby, back up and over his net - nnn”)

p :  bounce p-p-p-pirate  ( for handwriting say “and, down the pirate’s plait, back up and over the pirate’s face - p”)

g  :  bounce g-g-g-girl (for handwriting say “and, round the girl’s face,down her hair and give her a curl - g”)

o :  bounce o-o-o-orange (for handwriting say “and, all around the orange -o”)
