Please Use Our Story Sacks

We would like to draw your attention to some lovely story sacks that we have put together for the children in their Reception Year. In the Reception Classroom we have a range of sacks each containing both fiction and non-fiction books on different topics, and a range of activities / props to help inspire reading. Last year's Reception children shared these with some of this year's children who attended Brockenhurst Pre-school. We will be using the sacks during this term to learn, tell, re-tell and model reading in school. We would love you to borrow, share and enjoy them at home as well. We hope the ideas and activities suggested will build on and develop your child's previous experiences and enjoyment of sharing books. We will be drawing the children's attention to titles which link to the work we do in class as we go along. Please ask about these in class.
