Quick notes.

Well done to all with efforts in learning key words , and for remembering library book change. There are a lot more children now practicing the library skills and changing books regularly. If anyone has questions on this please ask.

New ditty books went out yesterday, and the children will have two different reading partners for different sessions for the remainder of this term.

Could you ensure that wellingtons and outside PE kits are in school for today, along with a suitable outdoor coat, as we would like to walk down to the allottments this afternoon. If the children do not have track suits then they could bring in a pair of jeans for this afternoon. If anyone is able to join us for our walk this afternoon they would be most welcome.

Lunch time update. On the way into school I met a hen who asked if I wanted two eggs. I asked what would I want two eggs for and the hen explained that if I were to mix them with other ingredients, then I could make something good for the children. I then happened upon a cow , who offered me some milk. He also said that if I mixed it with the right ingredients I could make something tassty for the children. Needless to say, as I walked on, there was a plan formulating for the morning's workwheel activity. Ask the children:-

• what they got up to
•  if they know any new songs
• discuss how you would best measure milk, egggs and flour
• what they must remember to do before eating, and after finishing.

 Great fun was had by all.
