year 2

Year 2 is the final year of Key Stage 1.

 Mrs Hinton is the teacher on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Smith teaches on Monday mornings and Mrs Stack teaches on Monday afternoons. Mrs Macey-Dare is the teaching assistant.

In Year 2 we work towards developing independence ready for Key Stage 2.The children are expected to be responsible for managing their own school equipment; book bags and PE kits. The children also learn to manage their Link Books independently.

In Year 2 we study a range of exciting topics, supported by visits and outings.
