Our trip to Eastleigh
For our Geography topic we wanted to compare our village with the town of Eastleigh. On Wednesday 30th March Year 2 caught the 9.33 train to Eastleigh where we walked straight to Norwood Primary School. We met up with our pen-pals in the year 2 class and proceeded to explore the town of Eastleigh.
We found out about the services in the town. We visited The Point theatre and watched puppeteers rehearsing for a show. We walked around the Swan shopping centre and saw lots of shops and restaurants.
We returned to Norwood School where we had lunch. We then asked our Eastleigh friends about life in Eastleigh. This data was used when we got back to Brockenhurst.
