School Games New Forest Quick Cricket Championships

As the year 6 children have a school trip which clashes with this event, we will be taking a year 5/4 team to the School Games New Forest Quick Cricket Tournament this year, building experience as always for the future.

Children selected will have received notitication via teamer, congratulations for this.

The Tournament takes place at Totton and EAling Sports Ground, and is a whole day event. Yopur child will therefore need a packed lunch, and clothing appropriate to the weather conditions.(This may include sun tan lotion or capif hot, or waterproof etc if cold and wet).

I Would like the children to wear whites if possible or a white tee-shirt / shirt and tracksuit bottoms if not! Mrs. White and Mr Pepin will be managing the team between them, but would welcome the support of anyone who is able to get over to support during the day.

We will leave school at 8.30 prompt, and the tournament is scheduled to finish at 5.00. If our return time ends up being earlier that this we will inform you via text.

Under 9 Cricket v Durlston Court Wednesday 16th May (CHANGE OF PICK UP TIME)

We are very pleased to be sending an under 9 cricket team to Durlston Court to play a pairs cricket match on Wednesday (another first time team for Brock). We have based our selection on attendance and performance at the Monday evening cricket squad training. Thanks to all who have attended squad training in an assortment of weathers from the beginning of the 'Summer Term'.

I have been asked this morning if we could start the match at 2.30 this afternoon. We have put all the necessary alterations into arrangements to enable us to do this. The only change you need to be aware of is that the finish times and return to Brock will be an hour earlier. That means the match and refreshments should conclude by 3.45 making our return to brock at around 4.00.

I have sent e-mails to all involved, and would be grateful if you could pass the word to anyone you know involved who may not have seen this notification.
