Arrangements for Friday's Tournament.

The girls football team has made great strides over the last 18months. If you have received notification from Teamer confirming your child has been selected to play in the Tournament on Wednesday 25th April, further details abut the event are available to view by clicking here. Many thanks and congratulations on your child's selection. Could you let me know as soon as possible if you are able to help out with transport. Thanks for your continued support of Sport and recreation at Brockenhurst.

Below is an excerpt from an e-mail that Brockenhurst received following our girls first tournament. It is important that even though the stakes are now a little higher,  we as a school retain and build upon this reputation.

"On Friday I took a team of girls to the Hampshire New Forest School Sports football tournament, where a team from your school was also present. I wanted to send a message to your school to congratulate you on the manner in which your children and staff represented you. The children in your team were polite and courteous and played the game enthusiastically, despite coming up against a couple of very strong teams ..."

The letter  went on to talk about the nature of the support and encouragement given by adults present. If things go well or luck is against us keep heads up, respect all opposition, show gratitude to those who make the competition possible, and ENJOY the afternoon.
