Following the Walhampton Gala last week, we have our second gala against Durlston on Thursday evening. There are several changes in the team from the Walhampton Gala, and you will have received teamer notification if your child has been selected. 

We will leave Brockenhurst at the end of the school day (3.00), to arrive at Walhampton for a 4.00pm start. The children will need to have swimming costumes, a swimming hat if they have one, goggles if they are used to wearing them, and towels. I would like the children to wear school PE kit including trainers, with a track suit over the top together with a  coat or warm fleece appropriate to weather conditions. They may well wear the track suit and footwear to keep warm when not competing. 

Children should be able to be taken home from Durlston just after 5.00pm, or from about 5.30 from Brockenhurst.

I would love to see all parents supporting the children, and would welcome help with transport from anyone able to offer assistance. I have spoken with Miss Ashness, who has is happy to audition anyone unavailable for the Thursday or Friday evening times at another time, as long as they let her know. 

Please could you let me know if you wish to accept or decline the place on the team as soon as possible, so I can inform reserves, if necessary.
